THE HISTORY
The prestigious villa was built in 1780 by the Beretta family who subsequently sold it to Domenico Pino, an Italian general, under the orders of Napoleon Bonaparte, as a division general. There were various passages, first from the Fontana counts of Milan then to the Biscaretti di Ruffia, finally to Emilio Treves publisher of Milan, whose name it still bears today.
Thanks to the interest in culture, the villa became a meeting place for intellectuals of the time. In fact, it was frequented by Gabriele D’Annunzio, Edmondo De Amicis, Giovanni Verga and many others.

THE GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor of the period villa is divided into two main areas: the representative area and the informal area.
