Villa - Indipendent House, Belgirate, Verbania, Italy

A few steps from Lake Maggiore and from the centre of Belgirate, on the Piedmont side, recovery and restructuring of a greenhouse that was in the past part of a prestigious villa of epoch. Built on a single floor with large windows typical of the construction, the upper part of the roof has been isolated and covered with copper. The “L” shaped planimetry creates a secluded courtyard which has been converted into a swimming pool with heating and “swimming upstream” effect. The lounge is located in the original structure of the greenhouse, very luminous, the kitchen is located on the side. Three rooms have been built in the newly built part,  each with its own bathroom and dressing room and the guests bathroom adjacent to the living area. All rooms overlook the pool and enjoy the view of the lake. The finishes are refined, the villa is designed for air conditioning, alarm, the doors and windows have armoured glass, the garden is planted, illuminated and has an irrigation system.
